Your company is participating in a Cyber Security Education Program.

This Covid Phishing Attack included the following social engineering techniques:

1. Topical subject (Covid) to be consistent with current news.
2. An email thread Reply plus Forward used to create social proof.
3. Executive impersonation to add authority to request.
4. A fake attachment with false errors so you click the link provided.
5. Worksafe BC logo to appear legitimate.
6. Links masked with worksafe.bc-en.ca to appear correct.

How to spot this was a phishing email:

1. Was this an email you expected to receive? No - Be cautious
2. The sender named email address was suspicious (not from the correct address)
3. The link provided (if checked/mouse hover) was directing to http://worksafe.bc-en.ca/...
